Attorney General’s Office (AGO) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan assigned a delegation for investigating the Gen. Habibullah Ahmadzai’s allegation with media and thus asked him officially to submit all his evidence and documents till 30th May 2019.

Despite, Gen. Ahmadzai showed up on 30th of May to the AGO and the assigned delegation assured him of investigating the case impartially and fairly, but, till now not only he has not provided any evidence or documents, but has spoken to media in an irresponsible way and by expressing such views on media not only he is helping to investigate the case but has created more concerns for the people.

The Attorney General’s Office of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with its precise, fair, impartial and independent conduct in recent years has shown that it is a protector of the rights and freedoms of the people and has addressed all the issues in the light of the Provisions of the Law.

The AGO once again asks Gen. Ahmadzai to be responsible for his speeches and expression and submit all his evidence and documents ASAP to the AGO.

Gen. Ahmadzai can either share with us all his evidence and documents in the presence of media and his advocate.

If Gen. Ahmadzai refused to provide his evidence, then the AGO of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is obliged to complete its investigation on the pre-determined time and will take its next decision based on the Provision of the Law.

The AGO once again assure you that it will investigate the case fairly in the lights of the Provisions of the Law and based on the evidence, documents and proves which will be submitted to the investigation delegation and will share its result via media to the public.
